The Ealing Schools Cross Country started 26 years ago by Del Hebbes the young people’s endurance coach at Ealing Southall and Middlesex Athletics Club with the hope it would encourage all children of any ability to get involved in athletics, keep fit and healthy and enjoy competitive sport whilst representing their own school.

Now the event is run in partnership with Ealing Southall and Middlesex Athletics Club, Active Ealing, Featherstone School Sport Partnership and Willow Tree School Sport Partnership The success of the competition has also attracted schools from outside the borough that take part as guests at the Ealing event.

Race 1 – Years 5 Female – 1.5K

Race 2 – Years 5 Male – 1.5K

Race 3 – Year 6 Female – 1.5k

Race 4 – Year 6 Male – 1.5k

Medals will be awarded at each race for the athletes finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in their age group, irrespective of which school they are representing.
